Phil Ranck founded Lean Alaska to follow his passion: teaching and consulting Lean Six Sigma! Serving the Army as Warrant Officer, his goal is to continue to support Soldiers and their families as well as the great people and businesses of Alaska. After 24 amazing years in the Army, Phil retired to Alaska with his family.

Lean Alaska is a Lean Six Sigma career training program for military and civilian professionals formed in 2019 out of an overwhelming desire among individuals and businesses to advance their professional growth, development, and credentialing. 

"It's important to me that our students can explore different job opportunities and recognize how to apply process improvement tools that we provide with them as they go," Phil stated.
