Changes in MA COVID Testing Protocols for Higher Ed

What They Mean for Your Boarding Program

In Nov. 2020 the Massachusetts Higher Education COVID-19 Control Plan was revised to include more detailed testing protocols for students residing on campus. Most notably, the plan outlines that “at risk” populations be tested every 2-7 days. These changes take effect January 1, 2021.

In this webinar, Fusion Cell public health and safety experts will look closely at these changes and discuss how they impact boarding programs at independent schools. This discussion is for heads of school and senior administrative team members actively involved in reopening planning and was produced by the Association of Independent Schools of New England (AISNE) schools in November 2020.

You will learn:

  • How the control plan has changed in terms of surveillance testing
  • How boarding schools can interpret these changes
  • What an integrated and robust testing strategy may look like in the coming year
  • Examples of existing and developing testing programs
